Since the late 1970's,Sears has been taking in companies like Samsung,Frigidaire,GE,and Electrolux to make some of the apliances that they and Whirlpool had serious deals and agreements on.I remember when GE came out with their new plastic tub washers, the actualy made the lids like the Kenmores asuming that their knocking on Sear's back door would enable them to be making the new Kenmores.Thank God that never happened. Between the transmission faliers and millions of broken in half tubs that GE had, Sears did the right thing saying "No thanks!" If I remember correctly,Samsung had a serious recall on the "Silver Wash" models that they somehow used silver to wash the clothes??? I think that due to the millions of folks who are allergic to silver, they had to recall them.Otherwise, I think that the Samsungs are one of the better, less expensive, good performing washer dryers.Hard for me to say that because, untill recently, I always prefered American made appliances. However, most of the American brands have bailed out of the U.S. as far as manufacturing and the factories they use or own and have moved them to countries where the employees are paid pennies by the hour with no bennifits,no medical,no unions and no pride in what they make.I am not saying they are bad products just a fucking shame that the conglomerates that for years were the backbone of the U.S.Unions kept the bilaws and bennifits of those companies fair and just.I am not condoning the numerous strikes that took place mostly in the 60's,70's and early 80's.I am just sharing my own views of how, in the continental United States of America, the financial leaders of these manufacturers have gone and basicly taken our jobs away to give to others who not only don't live or consume anything here but hate the U.S. and continue to put us down. These so called financial gorues need to be hanged and/or shot for steeling our labor worker's positions and handing them to foreigners who hate our country. As for the workers and their unions, they need to realise that a company can only give out what their production and services allow. In other words,if you don't make enough of a profit to be able to give out the numerous demands of a so called union, you need to be firm with them. Show them the facts and vote on what can be done as a compromise to make both sides happy. Your employer should be your friend and not make you feel like a number instead of an individual who is unique.WAKE UP AMERICA!!! Stop positioning yourselves as one who has their head inbetween their legs only to kiss their asses goodbye. |
