You could just use a 50hz motor that spins at the same speeds as the equivalent ("original") 60hz motor. |

I didn't know you had that machine, Steve! I'll bet that's fun machine to use, everything moving just a bit faster is just what WP/KM machines needed for forty years ;-) GE had conversion parts and info for their machines, just saw it recently in some service/parts books downstairs but I would imagine that if any of the parts are still around, you could buy a new washer and the house to put it in if they were! |

for the belt drive...I used a hot water heater cover, just fasten with duct tape and cut holes for the hoses as needed...kept water hot, absorbed noise, prevented from hitting the cabinet hard. for direct drive...I use the foam padding you put on a bed...the egg crate type...same thing...cut to fit around tub...fasten with duct tape...really quiets the machine down and holds tub still with out a lot of movement...note:egg crate faces outward, smooth side against the tub...:-) |
