I'd be worried that the dryer could withstand the weight of the washer on top of it. They get pretty heavy with water in them.

Dryer ALWAYS on top!

When you ever stack a washer and a dryer... you put the dryer ON TOP! So the heavy weight is at the bottom of the tower and the laundrytower is stable!

Yes the dryer would be on top, that is why the controls were moved to the bottom.

ok if it was a top load washer... how on earth did they manage to open the lid if a dryer was atop it??? Did they make a stacking kit??? Curious how it was set up
