The last of the big Westinghouse heavy duty washers manufactured in the mid 70's, prior to the takeover by White Industries.

This Westinghouse "Eighteen" features the exclusive deep ramp agitator, indexing tub as well as bleach and softener dispensers.

Speed selector, temperature selector, and water level controls.

Some few knicks, easily repairable. A beautiful & fully functioning vintage machine.

Local pick up or buyer may arrange shipping.

Is this a Franklin mechanism or did Westy have their own?

I always liked that style Westinghouse,especially the ones that would weigh your laundry,by putting it on the lid.

Hmmm...strange. This one doesn't have the Weigh-To-Save feature.

Oh how I would love to have this machine! Ramp agitator, recirculating filter, many settings...

If only it were closer! I would make the first bid!

Had a model of about same vintage as this machine.The only thing i didn't like was that indexing tub.With a full load, all the clothes did was spin around in circles.Otherwise the agitator would have been much more effective at circulating the load.
