This fabulous Hoover Electron Dryer given to me by Gary.
In my opinion one of the best dryers ever made - drum reverses every 37 seconds.
Oh why oh why can't manufacturers make machines like this today.

Big thanks to Gary

All the best AutoRinse_John

Beautiful

With that vent on the back leading directly to the hose it must make it far less likely that lint will build up than in other designs, I've only seen Hoover and Hotpoint with a design like this, but the Hotpoints must have been a haven for static with that non-metallic drum.

The 37 second reverse must be great, thats one thing I don't like on my Mum's Hotpoint TL61, I think the reverses are every 60-70seconds, which gives too much time for things to tangle.

Did any other dryers reverse more regularly than this? Apart from the bloody ones that do like 2mins tumbling with 10secs reversing.

Matt

Really is a superb looking dryer John.

And to think that some fool took it to the tip! Great that gary was able to swoop on it, before it was too late.

Cheers
Paul

Nice one John, they certainly are great dryer, and the "Halo of Heat" design with the fan directly on the back of the drum sucking the heated air through the drum and quickly out of the back of the dryer made these very fast and an even heat!!!

A big thanks to Gary for all his help for getting these treasures from the tip and into our realm!!

Matt the HooverHotpoint & Servis dryers all operated with the Halo of heat design and air flow,,,,slightly different on tumble reverse timings!!

In my opinion (IMHO) the Servis performed best and also had a lower wattage heater!!! gently tumbling away..!!!(hic..cough)

Oh did you hear that!!! its those Midlands boys foaming at the mouth..you can just about hear them.."Woorraa Load of Old Tosh"..!!!!..Lol, enjoy, Mike

The Best ??????

Only one answer

Lets get the best `it has to be Hoover`

Servis,,,,,,Servis,,,,, worra a load a s--!

Servis Sooze, I think you will find the lower wattage heater was to avoid the POOR QUALITY perspex viewing window in the door from melting !
Did the drum split to match the washer ???
