And notice that the wringer could also be ordered with a engine for the Amish/Appalachian folk. Those prices were dirt cheap for the time. I wonder what that Flair "look alike" stove would go for today if it was new? |

Are the wringer machines Norge? The electric ranges look kind of like Westinghouse, but not sure. Who were their appliance suppliers at that time? |

I bought from E-bay the signature compact washer with the plunger type agitator. It arrived today. The first couple of times it blew the circuit breaker. I took it all apart and cleaned it up and oiled it and she runs like a charm. I also have a signature washer I bought a couple of years ago In the picture it looks like the middle one but has a timer. Norge did build those machines, when I cleaned her up it had Borg-Warner stamped on the transmissiom. Mike
