Yup, Charlie got it right, machine #1 is a Crosley Rubber Tub made by Bendix.

Machine #2 was a Bendix Rubber Tub, which will be a parts machine for the Crosley.

Well, I'm way too late. I noticed a resemblance between the teaser photo and the Crosley washer in the Gregstravaganza post on that make.

The Vacuum Tub

There's an old guy that runs a appliance shop close to my house. He regaled me with a repair he used to do on the vacuum pumps for the Bendix machines and how sought after he was. My aunt had a Bendix but it was replaced with a Sears before I was old enough to have many memories. I am anxious to see it in operation and hear it sounds.
