I bought an Indesit 1100 rpm for my brother from makro last year for £160 +vat and up to date its been ok with no problems. He only uses it 2-3 times a week and does at least one 6O degree wash.
We had an indesit approx 6 years back and it only lasted 13 months with major repairs in between but we were doing in excess of 5 loads a day. One common fault with our old one was the timer kept advancing on its own throughtout the wash, it just kept going around and around and you couldnt set a programme, then the motor went, twice, then the board was replaced as it had burnt out and was told by the engineer we were doing too many hot washes... lol some of the things the engineers come out with. Our old hottie was always doing 60 degree washes and had no problems. Sadly tho back onto a seriuos note. Sadly as its said over and over on here, no machines are built to last past their warranty. |
