I'm working on a friend's A108. It runs like a champ but I'm getting a few drops of water flinging off the top of the counterweight during the spin cycle. The washer was filling up too high and I've adjusted that down a bit, but I need to know if this related or if there is a weak tub seal. The tub clamp is showing no signs of leaks (no visable streaks down the front of the outer tub).
Thanks, Dave |

That's a very bad sign. If it's coming from the tub seal/stem seal area, those drips will quickly turn into a stream, then a river. Make sure the upper tub top is bone dry EVERYWHERE (swing the top up and check)! Also, check the hose that goes from the tub to the pressure switch for any leaks as well as the injector hose and bleach hose (don't think a 108 has a bleach hose). If those turn up dry, it's time for a teardown!! |
