I have a 1945 & 1947 Laundromat manuals, the 45 is the earlyest model I am aware of, has a timer dial on the right, temp dial on the left. 47 incorporated water temp into timer dial. Look carefully at the dryer photos, the 45 manual shows a dryer with two big knobs on I suspect chrome plates, has same bottom panel as washer. 47 is single dial dryer & plain bottom panel. Appears same woman & everything else in picture is the same except different dryer. Last photo shows kitchen in 45 & laundry room in 47, you can see the difference in dryers in these photos too. Enjoy!!

EARLY WESTINGHOUSE SLANTFRONT WASHERS

Thats neat to see the owners manuals for these machines. My brother has the earlier washer with the separate temperature control, its on display here it may even be hooked up. I do believe some of these were sold to consumers before WW2 but production did stop for the war years. Thanks for sharing.
