The first washer looks to be an LDA-7800, which is what replaced our 1962 machine in June of 1976. My parents ran it until they got a KA pair in 1994. 18-pound, 5 temp, 4 level, 5 cycles, non-timed bleach dispenser, centrifugal softener dispenser, recirculating self-clean filter. Super Wash on Normal. Separate Gentle & Knits (with 1-stage cool down). Perm Press has 2-stage cool down (unless the timer has been replaced). Not a winged Double-Duty Surgilator, that came the next year. |
