And our webmaster thought his catastrophic laundry failures were due to not enough suds and overcompensating with 1/2 a box of Tide per each 8 pound load.

And by all means, wipe the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. The pump assembly on a dishwasher is small. If you get garbage in there, it will get blocked up.

But don't most modern dishwashers have built-in grinders at the bottom to grind up food particles?

I push off bones but my KUDS25 grindulates through everything, it better for the $$$$ I paid! Haven't had a dirt complaint yet in 10 years!

I had a problem with little food particles on the plastic glasses. I took the apart the bottom of the dishwasher, and pulled out the rubber piece that looks like a silhouette of a head and shoulders, now it runs great.
