Found this video on Youtube of the previous generation Whirlpool Duet washers. Look at the drum very closely, you only get a couple of glimpses but, WOW! Did they have a new drum in the prototypes and then decide to not use it? I wish they had! It looks very pretty!!

That sure looks like an LG interior or a Miele with indented dimples.

Well, whirlpool may have finally got it right. I took a look at these the other day when I was at Lowes. The drum is no longer tilted. There are jets in the baffles. However, I have been told that the hot water setting is only between 80-95 degrees.

Nice, but none of the Duets has this drum - not even the three new ones (94, 95 and 97HEX). And the control panel says "Clean Washer with Bleach Only", rather than "... with Affresh".

Hot water at 80-95°F? :O That's cooler than I wash my dark delicates! How are stains supposed to go away without pre-treating? Does the machine have an extended wash period?

I read that, too, but it must be wrong information from Whirlpool:

Hmmm. I went to the site and looked at the manual......they took away the skincare rinse. Oh well.

I was in Best Buy and looked at the Duets and on one model the drum tilts toward the front by 2*. is this normal?
