This Kenmore is looking for a home. Looks hardly used. Missing the silver basket and the cover for the power cord and hoses.

The machine is still at the store. If you're interested, drop me a line at svb14@hotmail.com

Please put dishwasher in the subject line.

Roto-rack

This was a post Roto-rack. I think the roto-racks went out in 1975. This had the triple level wash.

Also had the 'power-miser' so I'm guessing mid 70's model.

My parents had a Kenmore of earlier vintage but similar looks.  It was a cheaper model with only three buttons that had flat fronts, and no black on the panel, all woodgrain.  Probably a '75 or '76.  They decided to replace it in late 1990 when a door spring broke and the lower front panel had developed rust at the top, which had become unsightly.

What I remember most is how dramatically quiet it was compared to the uber BOL late 60's Wardgidaire portable toploader it replaced.

Thanks for posting.  I haven't seen a good money shot of one of those Kenmores before and I had forgotten what the interior was like.  A fine machine for a smart buyer and a real deal at $20.

Our own Steve 1-18 had that model 7034 at one time in his life.

Excellent find

In all honesty, I would rather have this dishwasher than a modern machine. It is very similar to the avocado early 70s Norge in a friend's kitchen. If set for heated wash, it turned out very clean, well rinsed dishes. I guess it is a little late to walk into a Sears store and order the missing cover.
