...what you see is an L8 with a D8 mate....hey... that Rhymes! The dryer has a HIGH heat & LOW heat setting & an air only setting- it also has the AUTO setting, & can be used in 220 or 115 volt setting- how much do they want? |

as I recall were dubbed as Americas Favorite Twins.....I luv all this neat stuff- Robert you do so much to keep all of us together! I think my favorite term found in one of the use n care guides was "premature stoppage"....due to overload.... |

Robert (Syndets) you are correct in that this has auto dry (the button). This was the only Westy dryer I ever saw of this design style and I though (and expected) every other dryer to have that feature. and only a few that have been collected here do.One of my mom's best friends had this dryer, paired with her 1955 Unimatic. The pair were still going strong when she replaced them with a Poppy Red Custom Deluxe 1/18 pair sometime in the 1973-1975 time frame. |
