would love to find a Montgomery Ward washer to add to my collection. Are they hard to find?

I find they don't come up very often -- depends on how desperate you are to get one and pay potential shipping costs...but I, too, share your love for Wards machines. They are the BEST!

Kevin -- does your Wards have the tiny lint filter? Do those splash out more than the older, large pans?

I had to get a replacement filter for my MW washer that I got at the appliance store that i get my vintage washers and dryers at

I got a small filter because that is what they had

I have one of the smaller MW washers that was made but am not sure what size the filter that came with the washer

Oh and yes it splashes a lot as the pumping action of the agitator is strong

Does anyone want me to make a new video of the MW washer and post it on youtube for everyone

Look for RickR's Monkey Norge Touch -n- wash on YouTube. It's a one of a kind washer, saved from a scrapyard.

I'm going to make some videos of my small MW washer

Question to ask

Should I shred the old videos on youtube and upload the new ones

The old ones are not very good quality

Hey Peter!

As a long time follower of your videos, I'd say keep them! But just do whatever you think is best. You have videos of some very interesting machines.

Can't wait to see the video of the MW portable! Let us know!

yeah i think this model of small MW washer is the same type that MW marketed as a portable

I remember seeing the portable out at MW when they were out at the mall

I also remember seeing the TOL washer dryer set as well it was at the the end of the aisle in the department and it was always hooked up

MW/Norge "Portable"

John Lefever has this matching 21" dryer in gas. Awesome that someone has the washer. Yeah technically it's a stationary washer, just an apartment size. 21" and it holds a LOT more clothes than the small 21" portables (GE/Hotpoint/Hitachi).

Montgomery Ward LNC-6735-A22

I have a old MW washing machine that I would like to get rid of, as far as I know there is only one problem with it (refer to pic below). My phone number is 520-559-3723, and I am in Southern Arizona. Will put up a additional posts with pics.

Did you ever find a taker for your Wards Signature machine? I have the identical model (even in Harvest Gold!) and would love some spare replacement parts. Please let me know. Thanks, Todd
