Well, I can see how those water amounts seem high when compared to what today's FL machines use.
That said, 40 gallons is a tiny little drop in the bucket when you stop to consider how much water is used by industry in the manufacture of "disposable" goods or the millions of gallons of water it takes to frack a natural gas well, or the 25 - 30 gallons of water required to refine a single barrel of petroleum |
