John has one of those HP combo manuals. I read it. The disappointing thing was that it did not spin until after the final rinse. I thought that if it had a suspension system that caused Avco to bust a gut it would at least have done some water extraction to improve the rinsing. I also got to read the service manual for the Maytag and it at least gives a one minute spin in between each of the water changes.

I got a few pictures - I think it is from the 1957 model but not sure. I would look foward to seeing the whole manual. Also I would like to see specs and manuals on the hotpoint condenser dryers from the 50's and 60's.
Thanks,
Peter

I wish all pushbuttons were lighted like the Hotpoints were.

You can almost hear Ozzie Nelson pitching them.
