For anyone who ever wanted to know how a Fabric-Matic works, this explains everything. Wasn't it around 74 when the Fabric-Matic made it's debut? Either way anyone into 70's Maytags, it's a good read. The second section goes into the dryers as well including the Auto-Dry models (307/407) it's a good read as well.

Thanks for the scan Robert.

My pleasure Tim, glad you like them. I found these very interesting myself. These were something that Maytag sent me in 1974 or 1975 when I wrote away asking them for information about their washers. Of course at 11 years old I didn't quite understand it all, but reading them again now I do :-)
