Wow, she's a beauty! Congratulations on your new acquisition. I love the ultra-sexy control panel. Can a matching washer be far behind?....

westyweek aqusition

I really love the 50's and the 60's slant front westinghouse
washers and dryers. They were the best during this time period. I espeally love the washers and how great they cleaned. Kudos to you on your find have fun with it. I would like to have a set of Westinghouse Laundromat and dryer for my own some day.

hey congats Chris... I am so glad that it made it home to you and so fast too. I dont know if Caroloine at the store mentioned it or not but technically you are the second owner as it came off one our great South Dakota Farmsteads we have out here. The Mrs that gave her up used her right up until the day she left the farm for new retired city digs. Man she is a beauty, just as grand in pix as she is in the metal (Flesh). I sure wish I coulda had her but Im glad she found a good, good home with you. So hey gang lets all keep our eyes peeled for a mate for Chris, cool?

That is one of the prettiest styles Westinghouse ever had. And pink too! It almost looks like some kind of parade float ;-)

Is it really pink?

Is it possible that the beauty is actually white and the camera is making it look pink? That's a pretty common digital camera issue.
