Yup - that's a Roto-Rack

We had this dishwasher, I think it's a '72. Gold racks. Ours was white, what a fun dishwasher to have as a kid. FYI, saran wrap is not a lasting substitute for a door.

we had one of these in white also

not sure when we got it closest I can come up with is spring summer of 73-75

we moved into the main street house June 73 so it may be 74

And used with Cascade the real 70's green chlorine kind

This is the model that I grew up with, after our LK Top Loader died. I sent an email, and got a reply that it was still available. Wish I were closer.

71 Christmas

I think in Fall '72 the design was changed to the picture above. Ours had gold racks so that must have changed from green in 70-71?

Frigidaireguy / Steve B 1-18 :

There's one of these I posted the other day, not sure if it's what you're looking for, as far as color and model.

This was the very last rendition of the Roto-Racks because it also included the  hot dry/cool dry switch that's to the right of the timer dial.  This was the exacyt model (but not the energy saver dry switch) we had in our house in Houston.  Gansky1 found one of these several years ago.  It has the water temperature display lights the cycle names light up over the pushbuttons and a light shines down on them and a little idiot red light abov e the timer knob.   This was also the model right below the LK.
