This one is on its original belts, the pump belt seems ok, but the drive belt is shot. Our last speed queen, a 1994 model, went 11 years before the belt started slipping and it didnt spin well. This one is older, but I am not sure how old exactly. |

Sure... It really is a fabulous washer, it cleans so well and is much more fun to watch than the Maytag Performa upstairs! |

Sweet. I wish Alliance used the same agitator cap in their later models. We removed it altogether on our AWS76 because we kept slicing our hands on the edges of it. |

Go to local hardware store and get a Clutching Drive Belt. They are designed to slip will last longer cheeper too. Take old one with you. Ace or Gill Roys are both very helpful. |
