3 weeks in a row, excellent finds-----

First is a 1948 Westinghouse Roaster, with the rack and pans and the base unit!!!

$25, and I have already followed 3 recipes and we ate well.

Week2

Nutone Food Center----NEW IN BOX NEVER INSTALLED---Model 221, built from 52 to the 70's. It still has the protective film on top. Again, only $25, it has the ice crusher, mixer, shredder/dicer, 3 total bowls.

But where to install? I don't have much excess counter space I want to cut into

Week 3

akronman's profile picture

A small metal cabinet, right from the 50's, only $5. Tomorrow I will remove the top and cut the opening, this pic shows the overall setup against the wall. All the Nutone bowls and attachments easily fit in the cabinet, and I will remove most of the drawer and bolt the drawer front on from inside, what the heck. The Ice Crusher box and shredder box still were stapled shut(and dusty).

Looks like I should have turned off that sconce for a better pic, sorry.

All the Nutone info says it's from Cincinnatti 27, Ohio. I think the 5 digit ZIP is from 1960 plus or minus 2 years, so that puts this at my age, but never installed. The house it came from looked exactly 1960, and the kitchen was very original, they simply never put this in, left all closed up in the basement for 50 years.

The 5 digit zipcode was introduced in 1965. So since your unit has 27 as the zone, it was made before 1965.
