Bet you don't see these everyday...
I wonder if they painted it to match mom's appliances or if they're just trying to cash in on the "vintage collectors machines"? It's not a bad paint job, even got the fading right! CLICK HERE TO GO TO Pulsator's LINK on Cedarrapids Craigslist |

That's a ~1998 Electrofrigiwhite. I have the stackable (no console) version. Someone faked the coppertone/fade pretty well, but without reference to the fact the product never sold that way.
I found the product itself most satisfactory. I still have it and it has required no service. Nothing made today will run 14 years without service. Lucky to get 14 MONTHS. Not only that but it actually uses WATER to rinse, FIVE TIMES. |

The Frigidaire stickup console was a factory variant. Yes I'd call it antithetical to the genre and the era, poorly executed, and ask "what were they thinking?". BUT the underlying mechanism is sound. You can actually use it to do laundry and it beats most of what is sold today in performance and reliability.
Can't well evaluate the "turquoise" affectation without seeing in person but as portrayed looks ghastly. |

As I have told management more than once over the bargaining table, even two inches of decorator icing with roses does not make dog poop into a birthday cake. Same with the turquoise paint on the GEs here. |
