That is a damn nice-looking 1205. It looks like the second version (of three). It appears to be very complete.

If I were in Tennessee, I'd snap that the Hell up. You can spend $39 just on a turquoise floor/rug tool if yours is missing.

The 1205 was probably one of the best electroluxes we ever owned. Powerful, elegant, quiet, and they finally figured out that the Canadian configuration of laying the canister down on its widest side would avoid a lot of annoying Elux capsizes. Also nice that the freakin' blower was relocated to the top of the housing and hidden under a slider.

I wish it was closer, I would buy it. The 1205 is the next Lux I want to ad to my little collection of Lux's.

That's my favorite Electrolux model (mainly for it's looks!). A few times, I've been tempted to get one on eBay but so far I've resisted!

We don't see these much (or at all) in Canada. I do have a 1205 Golden Jubilee which, along with the Super J is a more common sight around here as I think a strike at the Canadian factory made Electrolux Canada import some US models back then.

The 1205 looks much better than the 89 we had when it was introduced. Still, the 89 is my favorite Canadian model. I got a few 88-89 models for cheap at garage sales but I got one 89 in good condition with the original plug, power hose and adjustable power nozzle from a friend of mine who got it for scrap and then gave it to me a few years ago. Unfortunately, it didn't come with the telescopic want so I had to pay to get an incorrect (dark green instead of light green) telescopic wand for it!
