This one takes the cake. Complete with slide latch on the door. What's that on one of the control knobs? A bat?

That dryer was a POS from the get go!

The owner did a good job of making it worse with the bent cabinet and barrel bolt for a door latch LOL!  I have no idea what the hell is living on the console.

Control Knobs?

I don't see anything unusual on the control panel.  What am I missing?

Look at the ad on Craigslist, then look at the far left side control knob. It looks like a bat is hanging from the top of the control panel over the knob.

It's the power plug hanging over the console.

Power Cord

Ha! I saw the power cord hanging over the start knob on the console. Never suspected it was something else.

Seventy five dollars for this thing that looks like it suffered a hard landing with the gear up? Can they really be serious?

If they're in a small town, they might actually get $75 or something close to it. In out-of-the-way places, used white goods don't come up for sale as often as they do in bigger cities, so they're often priced higher than you or I would pay.

In a really big city, you almost don't care what you get for a used appliance, because you're going to play Hell disposing of it if no one wants it.

This dryer is Calhoun, Louisiana just north of Monroe, La. It's a tiny town. I used to fly over it all the time in my flight training days at LaTech.

Well I can say I am greatly relieved that it's a power plug hanging over the console rather than a bat. They do have a lot of bats in this region.

I called the seller and asked how the dryer got damaged. He said it fell off of a truck! In the north that would have a completely different meaning.
