I had that washer.

 

One of the last FF.

 

You could tell, at this point that parts were being made with less steel content.

 

When I was refurbishing, I came across a couple from around this time where the motor assembly had literally fallen out of the machine because the metal broke off.  It was too thin to handle the tension put on it when the motor is running.
