Recently the washer stopped agitating during the wash cycle. Upon inspection, both the coupler inside the agitator as well as the steel transmission spline are stripped. Is there a way to repair/replace? Addl. info: model# wwa8340gblwh

for the most part, you will probably have to replace the tranny.....

although I have come across this once.....first pop the coupler out of the agitator, and slide it over the post, and drill a small hole straight thru, then with a properly sized expanding pin, slide thru and secure in place....then slide the agitator back on the coupler....

may not be the best solution, but it will work....
