Another Spacemaker 30! These don't grow on trees.

This one appears to be complete, with its accessories (except that no mention is made of the probe for the meat thermometer), and a good candidate for restoration. The description even hints that the Automatic Calrod might still be working.

Someone Needs. To. Get. This.

Wow, this is amazing! Like Sandy said, these are so rare to find, I don't think that I had seen one in a long long time, and now suddenly there are three (the yellow one in San Francisco, the white one in Pittsburgh, and this pink one)... you could have a rainbow collection of one of the most space-age looking stoves that is also an execellent range! The instrument panel on a pedastel with the frosted glass behind and the keyboard pushbuttons is a great look!

RUH-Roh!

Looks as if the glass "backsplasher" might be cracked. Also could be something like an extension cord hanging down behind it - there does appear to be a cord coming down the wall.

If there is a crack, it's not a dealbreaker - a good glass place could come up with a replacement.

It sure would be nice to be around one of these that was in 100% working order!

yukk!

Does no one in the world clean their oven anymore? The stove is nice, and God knows rare, but for the price he is wanting the least he could have done is take the trouble to clean the oven.

Even at friends houses, it seems like the oven is always filthy. Not to sound snobbish, but I wasn't raised that way. Mom had a touch of Joan Crawford when it came to cleaning, and wouldn't have tolerated anything that nasty in the house.

I can't even use real oven cleaner due to a childhood incident involving some chemicals. One whiff and I am in for a major attack, and my choice of a trip to the ER or the rest of the day spent sitting down feeling like I am suffocating.

Yet my oven does not look like that. Bon ami and a scrubber, SOS pads for the worst spots, and a healthy lining of foil in the bottom at all times.

What happened to the old ads from easy off, don't put food in a dirty oven, you wouldn't cook in a pan that dirty, etc etc?

I'm thinking that it is a cord. If you notice, it moves location from picture to picture (on the right side vs. left side of the clock).

Woops! And I thought that I was so observant.. NOT! The one photo is reversed! But it still looks like a cord, but could be a crack...

I'd be very surprised if it's not the extension cord that we see there!

it's the cord ...but what's really bad is that oven - did they ever clean it?

Something funny about the black cat - reminds me of an old Jeff Beck song,

from Truth album, " I ain't superstitious, black cat cross my trail..."

lol.

It looks to me like it is the cord for the microwave to the right. From the looks of that 6 plug "multi receptacle" above the stove this kitchen might have a lack of convenient grounded outlets. Pretty pink stove.

Nice range,

but the oven sure needs a scrubbin'.

Did anyone else notice how far the range sticks out past the cabinets? They must be lesser depth than the standard 24".
