I'd like to know ....what's up with the panel and the right side looking articulated, not in the same plane as the controls.

Wow - that dryer has some mileage on it! I love seeing things really well used.
I agree with Malcolm, looks like a Maytag knob on the DD washer. The original knobs Kenmore used on these tend to weaken from what I've heard and break off. The replacement FSP part is metal reinforced for added durability. Looks like someone used some cross-branded ingenuity in this case to replace a broken knob. Gordon |
