To all LG front load washer owners. Let me tell you what happened to my Mother's LG today. Mom called me this morning and was freaking out because her LG would fill with water, but not do anything else. Mom is 85 and it does not take much to freak her out. Of course, she called me. I am the only son (out of 3) that has any sense, so I am the person she relies upon. I told her to hang on and I would go this afternoon to check out the washer. It was a simple fix. The drain filter had not been cleaned in a few months and it was clogged. Once I took care of all the lint, and drained the water out of the filter compartment, the machine worked perfectly. Mom now understands that at least twice per month the filter needs to be cleaned. Problem solved! She was actually ready to junk the washer and get a new one. If people would just read instructions.
A Good Evening To All,
Richard |

Speaking to the "church choir.". I would train my customers to do a monthly maintainance including cleaning the dispensdr tray and the drum and boot wipe down. The "button catcher" every week. None of those who followed those easy directions never called with any issues. Just to order another appliance. |

I just bought my very first front loader (an LG), and I will definitely discipline myself to do this every couple of weeks. Thanks for the tip! |
