Welcome, Adam! Be sure to check out all the videos and consumer articles elsewhere on the site. When I first discovered this site several years ago, I spent hours and hours watching the TV commercials, etc. You'll love it!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

At the moe i have a Hoover AL120, which i hate with a passion, so i'm planning to sabotage (sp?) it!! LOL

Then i can by my AEG L86810. HOORAY!!

Chestermikeuk: the oldest washing machine i can remember was one owned by my friends mum, but there was no make or model on the front... which was strange, i always tried to work out what it was

My mum had a philips Auto Elite (series 90) which was great...
like a lot of older machines it was heavy on water, during the rinses the water would be about half way up the door, then it would spin at 100-150 rpm with all the water in and then start draining, it was crazy lol
