Maybe there is a thread here, but a search leads me to scattered info. I am wondering if someone has compiled a list of makes and models with the suds return feature. I do know that Maytag offered some, and I believe Frigidaire did also.

Searching on Craigslist and eBay with "suds return" in the query field yeilds no matches, and I've been searching for over a month. Maybe I'm being impatient. :D

I believe a lot of people don't even know what suds return is, so that if they are selling a washer that they are not familiar with they may not even know that it has suds return. I talked to an older gentelman recently who is the owner of a used appliance, etc. store near me, and he didn't know what suds return was, so I am guessing it wasn't that common.

Anyhow, thank you for any guidance or advice you may have to offer.

I grew up with a suds-saving washer and they're a great way to save water, energy and strain on septic tank systems.

These brands had machines with suds-savers, and there are probably more. Which ones am I missing, gang?

Not every brand called it a suds-saver. Look for terms like 'water miser', 'suds miser', and 'water saver', too.

Frigidaire
GE
Kenmore
Maytag
Whirlpool

Bobbi---  AW member Martin (Yogitunes) confirms that Speed Queen also offered a suds saver model.  No model number though; sorry!

Thanks so much, folks! These things seem to be rarer than hen's teeth.
Hmmm...I have not run across any info on Speed Queen suds saver models. Off to do more research!
