one of the best examples of this HTF fridge...roomy, pristine but once again, the seller is looking for early retirement funds!!

I was looking for a white Frigidaire fridge to go along with my '57 30" Frigidaire range, but I wasn't looking for a $2000 dollar one with rust on the front panels.

Still, glad we have some photos now of this model (FI-121-57).

That's a very pretty fridge and in decent shape for its age, but $2K is outrageous.  Maybe drop a zero off of that price.  Frigidaire made some pretty appliances!

Well first off,

anyone who would label this product as "art deco" is a moron, regardless of the asking price.

It is a beautiful appliance!

We take this design so much for granted, but consider how absolutely striking this must have been when it debuted. Compared to all of the products that had been offered until then, this design must have just SCREAMED "this is the way of the future"!!!

There was one for sale recently at $70 in Connecticut. I have contacted the seller and was about to get it as a friend also had to get nearby to get an air compressor he won on eBay but the fridge was sold...

One of the ads is still there...

I love the Sheer Look appliances; they're my favorites from that era. I wish they'd stayed around longer. Phil, is that fridge white or yellow?

All I have seen were the pictures but I assumed it was white...

Here's a 1962 13 cu-ft Imperial which has a problem according to the owner, from the description, I doubt it's just the timer...

I imagine CT is rife with vintage appliances; I wish I had been into them when I lived up there. I'd probably have quite the collection!

Same sentiments as you Jason - aw.org woke me up to what I thought were scrapped appliances. Another classic design; thanks for posting photos, PhilR.
