Well after 7 years of service the rear drum bearings went out (also replaced the pump in this machine last year, and rebuilt the dryer glides). The rumbling from the bad bearings was like a freight train in my garage! Also when it finally gave up the ghost I had a load of rusty clothes! Here's a few of the pictures I snapped during the rebuild. Was much easier that i thought, though not the easiest of jobs.

I actually ordered the part from Sears Parts Direct as they were $50 cheaper than repairclinic.com, which with shipping was around $200. Unfortunately the first unit that sears sent to me was damaged so they sent me another one at no cost directly from Electrolux. It's only one piece, the back half of the drum assembly has the bearings fused into it. It took about 5 hours to complete.
