While this past weekend was anything but a slow-motion weekend, I was able to test out a cool new feature on the my new iPhone 6: Slow Motion movies! For demonstration, we have the following:
A mid-50's Youngstown dishwasher:
A 1966 Philco-Ford doing the hula dance!
And finally, the amazing 1957 GM Frigidaire Unimatic!
Make sure you turn the HD viewing option on.
Enjoy!

Awesome Captures Ben! I wonder if GM and Ford etc. had high speed film to capture the wash actions of the machines in slow motion? That would be cool to find. |

Thanks guys! What I found is that the only way I could get the true iOS slow motion was to upload directly from the phone to YouTube. If I exported the movie files from the phone to my Mac, iMovie would see the movie files as a standard frame rate file with no slow motion added.
In the future I hope to figure out how to export with the slow motion in tact and include this type of footage in a full production movie.
