Another owner who did not know how to use the orange makers for the auto-dry cycles. I wonder why there are no detailed pictures of the washer. What does picture #5 have to do with this set?

Appears to be an LDA5800 pair.  The washer is 18# capacity but the dryer is standard size.  Have to move up to the 7800 dryer to get super-capacity (with the bump-outs on the rear bulkhead and drum circumference).

It's amazing that the dryer drum is in mint condition without burnt on blue jean color on the rear bulkhead!

Burnt on blue color on dryer

My experience is that this burnt on blue color on dryers isn't caused by blue jeans but by too much blue fabric softener on the last rinses. I was used to having this color streaks on my dryer until for some reason I switched to yellow fabric softener. Voila! Blue streaks were gone from the dryer in a couple of weeks. I always thought these streaks were caused by jeans!

Emilio,

Bluing is not used as often here in the states and I've have used Downy, Final Touch, Snuggles which is blue in color but never had blue streaks on the bulk head!
Drying jeans on High temps does this on light colored drums.

blue dryer drums come from COLD washes....color may not be removed/faded during a cold wash, but will transfer to dryer during use....

first clue to the condition of the washer, is to open the dryer door....if the drum is blue, chances are the washer is going to need some serious cleanout of scum and build up...

I wash a lot of jeans, sometimes use downy, and have the whitest drums....then again, its always a warm or hot wash as well....

I wonder why there were no tub shots. They shot enough pictures of the controls and even one of the dryer drum. Maybe it's me, but that should have been included.

I thought #5 was of a different model dryer with the large capacity drum and oval opening, certainly not the gold standard capacity dryer being offered.

Here is the washer and the dryer panels and photos from the ad.

The fifth photo is the far left control for the HD Super Capacity WASHER.

All the photos appear to be from this washer and dryer. What's up with photo #5, then?
