Vintage Kitchenaid Model G 1931 Stand Mixer 3 Speed w/Attachments & Orig Manual

I don't think I've ever seen such a complete offering for one of these old mixers.  I don't know if it's worth that price but it sure looks to be one a collector would love to have.

Essentially the same as the current Hobart N-50 mixer, and will use many of the same attachments, according to my research.

The new N-50 sells for over $2000.

Mixers like those KA's were used in some primer and explosives plants for the mixes-they were remotely operated-so if the mixture let loose no operators were harmed. The mixers were in rooms with styrofoam walls-no shards from an explosion-and operators could literally run thru the wall in case an accident was about to happen! Not only for a collector--this would be an ideal mixer for a USER---no I don't plan to use it in an explosives plant!Just for cooking!Their motors were easily made explosion proof.Waring made a lab blendor for similar appliactions. And in the primer factories-often the mixer SURVIVED if the mixture went BOOM!!!
