Hi everyone,

I know this may sound a little too much like, well, you know, but I am in desperate need of a gold Kenmore 1-piece agitator cap with the built-in bolt...for the Roto-Swirl/straight-vane/etc. I actually had one that Don S. sent along with agitators & other stuff a while back, up until last December when I thought it would look better on the Avocado Kenmore (and THAT damn thing didn't even work right, oy!) for the wash-in.

Not realizing it was one piece and the bolt didn't screw out, I tried removing the bolt and stripped the threads. I can now kick myself for it, as usual. Not to mention I'm already short on agitator caps, and the Frankenmore just doesn't look right without it.

PLEASE let me know (westytoploader@yahoo.com; linked here) if you possibly have a spare floating around somewhere, and especially if you have the whole gold straight-vane agitator! Would be glad to trade...perhaps one of you is looking for something that I might just have?

Something that doesn't involve removing the Gyratator from the 101P...LOL ;-)

Thanks,
Austin

Austin, what exactly does this cap look like, do you have a picture of one?

Hi Robert,

Here's a picture of the Roto-Swirl with this cap, courtesy of Larry/Cleanteam...I had actually taken pictures of my RS with this cap on but apparently I did not save them.

What about a scrubber style cap? I might have one of those.

Better yet...

Austin, do you still have your old cap? You know, the one with the stripped bolt?

It can probably be repaired--and I might be able to help you out here. Send me a pic of the damage for an "assesment."

Austin did you ever find your cap?

I did finally locate my cap, but I remembered that the bolt had been removed. It will make a nice shelf decoration though!

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the offer on the scrubber cap. If I had a Lady Kenmore I'd love to have it, but for the Frankenmore, a standard 70's cap will do!!

I found one Austin, since I most likely will have no need for this, you are more than welcome to it if you wish. Just email me your address.
