Window Shield I don't believe this one would have the shield. The shield was used in the early years of the P7 models, I am not certain for exactly how long, but this model is a post-1977 model as indicated by the non-shaded avocado color. By that time GE had either determined that the shield was not necessary or had modified the glass to better withstand the heat of the cleaning cycle.
