The stove is super cool. Has a round porthole for a window. Stainless in color. Glad I'm not close to it.

Try your links in preview before you post - they're coming thru with an "s" (https//...) that isn't working.

Links

I have learned that if your link is missing a colon after the https, the link will be dead.

Another member pointed out - the https will work if you make sure it has the colon (:) after the https, but myself?

I just make sure the link has the http, a colon, then the two forward slashes before the rest of the address.

Too much talk - hope you figured it out. :-)

I was checking them in the preview and they were working. Idk what I'm doing wrong. Also how do you post them so the pictures come thru as well?

Just drag the photos to your desktop or a folder you create, if you want(I just use the desktop) and then I just click on the photo I chose from the desktop and drag into the "Add Photos Here" box provided. Hope that's understandable?

You can add a colon after you drag your link or paste the link into the "URL Link to Share". Look very carefully after you preview it(do preview it first) and you should see a missing colon after the "https". It will work if you add in that colon, can you do that?

Again, just look at your CL ad, point to the picture, click and hold your mouse down, then drag the image of the stove to your desktop. Your browser window needs to be a little smaller so you can have room to drag and drop that stove image onto your desktop. Then when you go to the posting screen, click and drag your desktop image of the stove to the "Add Photos Here".

Then click on preview and make sure you have, in the URL you pasted, a colon after the https. :-)

That's it!

extra http

I've had that happen - just delete the http with the two forward slashes, add your colon after the https, and you're good.

That normally doesn't happen - but the missing colon will with some CL links.

Don't worry, you'll get it.

STEP 1
pull out old laptop and plug it in to charger for 5 mins before ever trying to turn it on.

STEP 2 Wait for another 5 mins for it to make it to internet explorer.

STEP 3 Donate so I can edit my post. Ive been meaning to do this step for a while but trying to do it from my phone... was not happening. (When you clicked donate it carried you to paypal to log in but doesent carry the info over to tell paypal who to pay).

STEP 4 Edit post

The issue is that the URL link adds the http// to it even if there is one there already. Got it fixed now thanks for telling me that they didnt work.

I use a desktop PC and as a rule, I'm in nearly-full screen mode on whatever I'm viewing, so I right click on the ad's picture and select "Copy image," navigate back here and right click just below the verbiage of my post, then select "Paste."

If I'm posting pictures from my own files, I use the "Add Files" function below the "Add Photos Here" field.

We lived for a few years in a 1954 rental home that originally had the same Western Holly wall oven and cooktop as above, but in band-aid pink.   The oven had been replaced, but the cooktop was still there, and it was delightfully heavy duty.  That stainless cooktop is a beauty.

Now the perpetual question we all ask here...

"Why on earth are they giving up such beauty, quality and longevity for new crap ?"

You can just feel the quality of that WH Cooktop and Wall Oven.  If I ever own another home, I think the first floor would have 4-5 kitchens each one with it's own personality.
