It is now sitting in my friends garage. Its been in use until recently and was left on the foot path for collection. I dont know if its fully functional yet, but at least its saved and here is a picture for you all to enjoy. |

Here is an inside shot. Its an agitator from a later model, proper agitator should be light blue similar to the one in the model found recently by mayfan. |

Funky looking Maytagish agitator. The fins do not appear to be flexible----is this agitator hard "bakelite" material? Interesting 'Kenmo gold color. This machine certainly gives the operator a lot of flexibility with all those buttons! Very cool. |

Congrats on your find :) We were lucky in AU, lid switches didnt become mandatory until 74. Before that it was up to the discretion of the manufacturer. |

FOUR speed automatic? Holy cow! I think the most speeds we had in the US was 3 on the washers. There was a one time a variable speed Hotpoint but I think those didn't work too well. |

Does that say S U D S !! between the two red "OFF" signs?? A Suds-return? If so how lucky. Half-kidding, but don't you guys have Monitor Lizards, or something really big and scary down there--Gila monsters or Komodo Dragons--that can eat you right up? Jason, we'll have to check with one of the old pro's but I think Frigidaire once made a four speed beauty, in the 60's or 70's, four spin speeds for sure, but I can't remember the number of wash speeds--I'm thinking three. |

Hi Chris More like "With feces your pants will be filled." So scary What a treat! Tomorrow, I'll see if I can find the music and have a sing along with the crazy youngins at work. Is Great Ocean Road on the ocean? I ask because I live on the lake. I've also read that the best snorkeling in the world is to be had on the Great Aussie Reef. I knew Great Ocean road had to be something amazing. One big live gushing holy washing machine. Thanks so much. The only other Danieu's on this planet live in Australia. Someday I intend to go down under. My students loved the lyrics, having grown up with the Crocodile Hunter, but we could not download the music or find the group--must be local, huh? |
