Yes, TOL model? I think they may have had an electronic console one by then. This one has a mechanical rapid advance timer. It is the old heavy belt drive type though. |

I had a portable model. I liked the forced air drying though. It wasn't much noisier than most dishwashers made then. like DM's, for example. |

Thanks Vacerator, good to hear it wasn't too loud. Even so, the sound of a dishwasher is to me, like the sound of hearing a train go by(I grew up with plenty of trains around). I typically don't stand next to the dishwasher(unless I ever get one with a window) and the sound is, for some reason(?), a really great sound.
