This little beauty is a steal and it appears to be plug & play.  I wish I had a little getaway someplace where I could use it.

I wonder if this stove did double duty where it would also heat the hot water for the house. My grandmother had a set up like that. One had plenty of hot water in the winter, but in the summer it was just too hot to run the stove for hot water, at least that is what she told me at the time. She also had a stainless steel tank in the bathroom that stored the hot water for use and the lines were directly behind the stove wall. Well let me put it this way, her bathroom was directly behind the kitchen wall where the stove was.

Would that be

"Occidental", as in Transamerica heritage, or lineage?
That was the best health insurance back in the day. Not that I needed to use it often, as I was young, but I recall zero co pays or deductables.

I think the trash meant it was used on the left for a trash burner going up the chimney. That is in way too close to areas of walls that could catch fire from a wood or coal fire.
