That is possibly the whitest kitchen I've ever seen.  And perhaps the first white wall mount GE I've ever seen.

Dang, missed this when it was first posted.   I'll bet that it was that troublesome resistor that went on them....  

 

Likewise, I have never actually seen a white version of the GE wall refrigerator - GE clearly did a good job on convincing folks to 'Tramatize' their kitchens... LOL

Motor Replacement

I saw that article in the Post the other day. I wondered if they had the original motor still when it had to be repaired. It seems the original motors in the wall mounts were bad and most were replaced within 10-20 years of original install. Great to see one of these wonderful machines still being used every day.
