 I haven't used or had need for such in a work environment but I need it for sleeping due to growing up with window units. Use my Vornado heater/fan and/or ceiling fan on high, and have a HEPA filter in the living/kitchen/dining area with choice of speeds. Have also made use of a bathroom exhaust fan in a pinch. | ||

Glenn, I use my Vornado fan on low at night for white noise in cold weather and year round with the wall shaker window unit during the summer to push cool air into the hall. I have a Vornado space heater in my bathroom for when I shower in cold weather. It keeps the mirrors from fogging and my wet body warm. | ||

In that workplace-can the music playing workers be asked to turn the music down or use headphones?What is "music" to one person may well be racket to another! | ||

The polite request I made for reduced volume was met with an angry response so I thought the machine would be a better way to go. | ||
