We need a new fridge, Top freezer or bottom freezer, but not side by side.

Which is generally the most reliable w/ the least complex electronics?

I have a BOL GE 15.5 cu ft top freezer fridge and I love it! It is simplicity personified and keeps a constant 35 F in the refrigerator and 0 F in the freezer. No bells or whistles, no ice maker, all the room is devoted to just what it was meant for, food storage and preservation. I ordered an extra shelf and I have just as much storage area as I had in our previous 18 cu ft. model, only it now takes up less square footage in our kitchen.
