Is it empty or is this a stereo console with components? No clue.

consoles typically had a very high gloss wood finish, can't tell if this one is just dirty or a somewhat atypical, for them, lower gloss. Usually German models had nice quality veneered furniture, decent Dual or similar Swiss or German turntable, the typical German paper wound transformers, usually rather smallish oval speakers, which actually sound quite good for their size, and fairly low output power. They rarely had an amplifier of more 10 or 12 watts. Decent enough overall however no match for the better mass market Maggies, Motorolas, or Zeniths &c, much less the mid and upper model Fishers, Pilots, Strombergs and such. Nice to own nonetheless!
