Yet another name for the "Suds Saver Feature" that only Nash-Kelvinator could have thought of...
I could see a future for evolutionizing this machine if there were only the buyership for it, and the better quality American Motors could have invested in it, the way General Motors supported their own Frigidaire, even if this relevance was only briefly... And imagine getting a "Suds Back" in every available color--& maybe with what I would suggest, bigger push-buttons... -- Dave |

Also known as static overflow, in which agitation ceased, the pump went off, but the water rushed in at full volume-- AND--aerated, forcing the current of water went deep into the tub, and so effective that the rinse water was actually clear by the end of the true overflow. Then came high drama as the whirling agitator erupted, hurling waves of water everywhere. One of the great moments in washer history. Unforgettable!

And, if ever there was an old machine that NEEDED a thorough Rinse, it was Kelvinator. Anyone who regularly dumped a cup or more of the old Original Tide or Ivory Snow in one knows what I mean. |
