Well cared for 1954 Westinghouse Washer & Dryer
Yes this has the nice working chimes on the
Dryer . I bought these from the original owner.
First $200 and a trailer takes them away !

These are sure beautiful! My favorite aunt had a set just like this and they started my life long fascination with washing machines. If I had the room and lived closer I sure would try to make them mine. I hope they go to a home that will take good care of them, the look remarkably well preserved.

OMG!  In my strike zone but I already have a set...  No more whining about never seeing a set for a reasonable price!!

I would so love these! Unfortunately, too long of a drive from the Florida Panhandle :(

So Glad...

to have turned on the web site literally moments after Jon's posting - purchased without any hesitation considering the seller, the rarity of finding such great, nostalgic machines.

Thanks Jon for preserving such a great pair and making them available for purchase and at an unbelievable price! No hesitation here! Looking forward to their arrival!

"you need to jump on it when they come along.."

Is this the Republican thought for the day?

Paul told me about it and I saw them when they were first posted, if I hadn't just bought the L-1000, I'd have jumped. Congrats to the new owner! I look forward to the day when I can get my set into this condition! Now if we can just get those boots reproduced!

It's ok Laundress, those of us that know the situation already recognize when the meds are neglected.
